Frequently Asked Questions

Please find below the answers to the most common questions I get asked about my coaching practice. If you still don’t find the answer to your particular question, do not hesitate to reach out.

General questions about my practice

My services range from ad-hoc 1-hour sessions to fully-fledged 1:1 coaching journeys, depending on your needs.

If you have a more complex or longer-term goal in mind, it might make more sense for you to commit to a structured coaching plan. That’s why I offer dedicated journeys (of 4, 6 or 8 sessions each) that will help us tackle your goals in the most effective way.

As a coachee, you will also receive access to a portal through which I offer unlimited support over email and chat between our sessions.

Over the course of 12+ years, I have collected a lot of first-hand experience in shaping a career within fast-moving and results-oriented businesses such as Amazon and Facebook. As an HR professional, the topics I provide coaching on are my bread and butter, and coaching is an integral part of my role as a people leader.

Since I officially launched my coaching business in 2022, I have delivered over 250 hours of coaching with coachees across 3 continents. But even before then, I’ve been an avid coach and regularly participated in coaching or mentoring pairing programs, contributing to many more hours of coaching.

I am planning the become an ICF Certified Coach by the end of 2023. You can find out more about my other qualifications on LinkedIn.

Every coaching relationship starts with a complimentary discovery chat. In this 30-min call, we’ll discuss your current situation, goals and expectations. I’ll walk you through my coaching practice, what services I offer, and how we’ll work together.

If it’s a match and you’d like to work with me, we can agree on a path forward and design your coaching journey. If you’d like to book a package, we will meet at a bi-weekly cadence. Depending on your goals, you can expect pre-work such as reflection prompts or self-assessment — they are optional but highly recommended!

I also offer unlimited support over email or chat between our sessions: you will be granted access to a coachee portal which will allow us to stay in close contact, schedule/re-schedule any new sessions, and follow-up on progress.

Depending on your goals, you can expect me to ask you to complete pre-work such as reflection prompts or self-assessments — they are optional but highly recommended!

Easy — I am using a platform that will help us stay in touch throughout our coaching journey, and also facilitate scheduling. We can book any sessions in advance or ad-hoc. Should the scheduling tool not be showing any appropriate slots, please reach out to me directly so I can move things around.

If we haven’t chatted yet, feel free to book a free introductory conversation with me. During this complimentary 30-minute session, we’ll discuss your current situation, goals and expectations. I’ll walk you through my coaching practice, what services I offer, and how we’ll work together.

Coaching fees, billing & payment

I charge a fixed rate for single sessions, and offer session packages at a discounted rate.

Compared to other coaches, charge fair and affordable rates. Coaching is an enjoyable side-activity for me, and as a full-time salaried employee, I don’t have the need to inflate my hourly coaching fees.

To find out more, please feel free to get in touch or book a free introductory call with me here, or get in touch with me under info@thecuriousrecruiter.com so I can share a list of services and the corresponding pricing.

Discounted rates already apply to session packages: the more sessions you book in advance, the more the hourly rate drops. If you have a long-term coaching goal in mind, I suggest you explore my coaching packages.

Absolutely —as a freelance coach, I have a registered company headquartered in Germany, and I am able to issue (even international) invoices via Stripe, my payment solutions provider. Note that the invoices are be exempt from VAT, as I operate under the German legal form of “Kleinunternehmer”.

Yes! As a freelance coach, I have a registered company headquartered in Germany, and I am able to issue (even international) invoices via Stripe, my payment solutions provider. That means you should likely be able to use your L&D allowance for covering the cost of our sessions.

If you need any specific mentions on your invoice, please do reach out to me beforehand.

I use Stripe as a reliable payment solutions provider, so you will be able to pay securely either by card or bank transfer.

  • Introductory coversations are free of charge
  • For individual 1-hour coaching sessions, payment is due upon booking via Stripe, or at the latest, 48 hours after the session.
  • For coaching packages, I require 25% downpayment and the rest of the payment is due one month into the journey — so it is already staggered. You do however have the option to chose up to 3 installments against a small fee.

Yes, of course! By default, I require 25% downpayment and the rest of the payment is due one month into the journey — so it is already staggered. You do however have the option to chose up to 3 installments against a small fee.

Should you need specific payment plans, do not hesitate to reach out.

Note: 1-hour sessions are exempt from payment installment options.

By standard, my prices and invoices are issued in Euros. At the checkout process, Stripe (my payment solutions provider) should allow you to pay in your local currency, and take care of the currency conversion.

Should you need an invoice in a different currency, please let me know.
